Porcupine Springs

Obvious lack of upkeep was present. Central fire pit was 4” from the rim with ash and communal tables were covered with weathered and tattered poly cloth with previous guests died food and litter. We cleaned out the fire pit and policed up remaining debris/litter. Having reserved the entire loop, for 9 vehicles and 30 guests we were prohibited from controlling entrance to prevent non-associated guests from freely entering and loitering in the loop with numerous young children, pets constantly present and, expensive pilferable equipment in spots. Too many lookie-loos for my liking. Installation of a privacy gate to the entrance of the loop would greatly deter the incursions rather than an insignifcant reservation schedule roster posted on the board. If you reserve lodging at a hotel or cabin, you have every right to secure the entrance, this loop should be no different. Will definately return, however this loop definately needs a method of limiting who accesses it.

Unfortunately, we didn't realize that this place was heavily used by the off road crowd. ATV's, dirt bikes and side×sides made this campground very noisy and dusty. Also, because of the horses too, there are huge horseflies. We also had to pack out our trash, because there is no trash service. We were on a 30 day road trip, and had to find a dumpster near Twin Falls to get rid of the trash. We won't be back.

We were in group Loop B. The sites are good. The area is scenic. The vault toilet was smelly and filled with flies...mostly not usable. The area of the fire ring is good but has been vandalized at some tables. Still, a great area to visit.

We enjoyed our stay and ride on the south hills adventure trail. We also enjoyed visiting the hummingbird feeding station and saw a moose the first day. The campground was peaceful with few other campers Sun. - Tues. It did get quite chilly overnight in June, but was beautiful during the day. We look forward to returning again.

Great group spot. They only have a tiny sign on a huge board to say you have the group site reserved. No reservations on the individual sites and people come in and try to camp in your spots. I had to hang the reservation on each spot. It needs to be better identified that it is reserved

There is no internet here. Also there was no solid, flat place for tents. The campsites are pretty close together. We did see some wild life including frogs, deer, and a moose. Would camp here again!

Excellent, we have been reserving the loop for several years and have enjoyed the stay each time.

I have tried to reserve a loop in porcupine springs every year for family, friends,and this last time was a bunch of co-workers. It’s always been an awesome experience

Great place for a breakfast cookout!!

We paid significant amount to rent the campground for 3 days for a family reunion. Day 1 about half way through the day we ran out of TP in the bathrooms and they never restocked it as the bathrooms were not cleaned one time while we were there. They reeked of ammonia and when we requested to be cleaned and stocked were told "we will get to it" yet they were never to be seen.
