French Creek campground offers a charming and well-maintained environment with friendly hosts and clean bathrooms, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors enjoyed the spaciousness of the sites, particularly those with creek access, and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere despite some close proximity to other campers. However, some reviews noted issues with bugs and darkness, as well as concerns about wildlife interactions, which may affect comfort for some families.

Access to lake was not ideal. Not good for small children. Our campsite was right next to the road so loud and dusty.

Pit toilets were spotless. There were about three sets of campers, so it was very peaceful.

Have camped here a few times and it’s always very clean. Even the bathrooms. Camp hosts are very nice!! I love how it’s so shaded.
