We’ve visited Waters Edge RV Resort more than once, and it’s one of those places you truly want to come back to.
The scenery here is невероятно beautiful and peaceful. There are many eagles in the area — you can actually see their nests nearby and watch them soaring overhead. We also saw ducks, squirrels, and we were lucky to spot six pelicans — an unforgettable experience.
When you arrive, you can stop and park near the main highway bridge. That’s also a great spot for fishing — we caught perch there. From that point, a trail leads into the park, with the river running along the left side. Even the walk itself feels calm and scenic.
Inside the park, there is a truly unique wooden bench that looks hand-carved. It’s like a piece of art — large, detailed, with carved shapes that resemble trees or pinecones. You can tell it was made with care, and it’s one of a kind. Nearby, there’s a small bridge that takes you to a quiet little island — a perfect spot to sit and enjoy nature.
Along the way, there are many places where you can stop, sit in silence, and take in the mountains, the water, and the wildlife all around you.
Highly recommend — a peaceful, beautiful place to relax and reconnect with nature.

I am a fan of the staff at Waters Edge RV Resort. When we left and arrived our next destination, we couldn't find our adapter plug for the electrical cord and Kerry (I believe was her name) was incredible kind and went to check our site for us. On top of that, she went above and beyond by asking nearby neighbors as well before calling back.
As for during our stay, we enjoyed how dark it can get at night and how quiet it was. Given that it was by the water, there were more bugs so if you're going and plan to hang out outside, make sure to bring something to keep the mosquitoes away. The team was diligent with cleaning the bathrooms and I loved also how we got cinnamon rolls Saturday morning. We look forward to returning in the future!

I'm torn on this review. for the price, this RV park is pretty average. sites are clean and there's a good amount of trees for shade. The sites are really close to each other. My sites water spigot leaked pretty bad. ended up filling the fresh water and used the pump. My major complaint is that there was no enforcement on the quiet hours. The group that was tent camping at the tent sites were playing their music and and just being very loud in general. way too late in the night. But with all this said i probably will come back, but in the off season.

We have been enjoying waters edge for years and have loved the campground and its staff. Sadly we had a medical emergency preventing us from making our reservation. They did cancel our reservation however we were given the cancelation response that we would be charged the cancelation fee. Told its the "policy". Appreciate when no flexibility is considered.

Nice RV campground, calling it a resort might be a little bit of a stretch, though. The sites are well maintained, many have grass. Some are gravel only, probably because the grass has died. Lots of mature trees, most sites have a reasonable amount of shade. The bathroom / shower facilities are nice, and well maintained. The campground is on the edge of the payette River, and has a really nice beach inlet with paddle boards and kayaks that you can borrow to paddle around. The town is about half a mile away, very walkable, and there's a really nice Riverside walk that is also well maintained. All in all, the nice vacation spot!
