French Creek campground offers a charming and well-maintained environment with friendly hosts and clean bathrooms, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors enjoyed the spaciousness of the sites, particularly those with creek access, and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere despite some close proximity to other campers. However, some reviews noted issues with bugs and darkness, as well as concerns about wildlife interactions, which may affect comfort for some families.

This was our very first campground when we first got our tent trailer. We loved the peacefulness and beauty so much, we have kept coming back.
We recommend it to everyone who tells us they want to go camping.

Our campsite was nice. Spaced out well from the other two neighbors. Bathroom was clean. Close to boat ramps for kayak access. The one at the campground hasn't been used in a long time and is away from the water. We got rained out so had to come back a day early unfortunately.

Very nice spacious campsite. #20 was quiet and was good for my dog. He wasn't bothered by close by campers. The camp host was also very nice he stopped by to check on us and made us feel welcome and secure staying there. The lake is very close by and in site 17 we could see a view of the lake. Highly recommend French Creek plenty of tent space and easy RV parking.

The spot was very small for my family of six. And the first come first serve spot was twice as big and nicer.

Some of the sites are very close together. The bathroom was kept very clean. Our site had access to the creek which was really nice on a hot day.

The camp is so charming! It was spacious, close to the campers around you but it doesn’t feel crowded and there are only a couple sites. Lakeside location, not a lot of mosquitoes. The camp host was so nice and kept the bathrooms SO clean. I loved it!

Great spot and location. Road was a gravel, bumpy, typical Idaho road. 32’ travel trailer did well.

We loved this campsite, we have reactive dogs and they do much better away from people so this was spacious and secluded. There was an active bear that was around from 8:30 pm till about 4am. He had to be scared off multiple times and kept coming back into the area and every campsite around us either had interactions with him of signs of bear. He was treed 2 different times by other campers and still came back. It was wonderful location just not relaxing and felt dangerous having such an active bear so close.
