Clean, quiet and just what we needed to tent camp, out of our side by side!

French Creek campground offers a charming and well-maintained environment with friendly hosts and clean bathrooms, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors enjoyed the spaciousness of the sites, particularly those with creek access, and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere despite some close proximity to other campers. However, some reviews noted issues with bugs and darkness, as well as concerns about wildlife interactions, which may affect comfort for some families.

French Creek is a cute, clean little campground, staffed by nice camping hosts. We enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately the mosquitoes were out in force.

Camp host never said one word to us. Are was clean and nice, but I just won’t camp in camp ground sites again. My kids like to be loud and bring quiet after 10 pm just doesn’t work for my family. It was nice though.

Camp ground was well taken care of, bathrooms were clean and didn’t smell. Camp host was friendly! The river noise was nice though we couldn’t find where the river was.
The bugs were terrible and made it difficult to be out in the evening. Also, camp spots are pretty close together so there isn’t much privacy. Expected the lake to have a beach front but the only water access was a boat launch/not a place to swim.
