French Creek is a cute, clean little campground, staffed by nice camping hosts. We enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately the mosquitoes were out in force.

French Creek campground offers a charming and well-maintained environment with friendly hosts and clean bathrooms, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors enjoyed the spaciousness of the sites, particularly those with creek access, and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere despite some close proximity to other campers. However, some reviews noted issues with bugs and darkness, as well as concerns about wildlife interactions, which may affect comfort for some families.

Clean, quiet and just what we needed to tent camp, out of our side by side!

Site 3 was beautiful and well maintained. Perfect spacing between other spots. Exactly what we wanted. The tent pad was big enough for our 6 man tent and the parking spot worked well for our rooftop tent.

I enjoyed the spot, however the tent pad on my site had a lot of bushes/trees that needed trimmed down. I understand I'm camping, shouldn't be a concern haha but it did cause some falling pinecones that landed on my tent during the night. Other than that it was great!

These sites were extremely dark due to the denseness of the forest no daylight shown through. The gnats / flys were so bad as to make it difficult to breath, even though we prepaid for two nights we immediately turned around and left. Also, the access road for about 10 mi was extremely washboard. I had to stop and deflate my tires and do 5 mi an hour so as to not destroy my RV.
