This is a great location for car camping! It's small and you have to walk in so you are farther away from the cars and the road. It feels more remote than the other Warm Lake drive-up sites. We have been here twice and will definitely come again.

We love camping at Picnic Point. The camp host Stan is awesome. We love the lodge and all amenities.

From Cascade, turn east on Warm Lake Highway. Travel approximately 26 miles along the paved road to Forest Road 489 and turn south. Continue about a half-mile past the Shoreline Campground and North Shore Lodge. The campground will be located just past the lodge, on the left side of the road.
The campground is accessible via Warm Lake Highway, which connects to Idaho State Highway 55 approximately 10 miles to the west.
Elevation: 1616 feet
27 mi drive to downtown Cascade (about 42 min)
