What Guests Are Saying
Stolle Meadows Cabin offers a lovely experience with beautiful scenery and well-maintained facilities. While the cabin is in great shape, some kitchen items could be added for convenience, and guests should bring their own water and sugar for hummingbird feeders. The area is rich in wildlife and outdoor activities, making it a delightful retreat.

It was our 17th year at Stolle, so we’re obviously biased. The cabin’s in great shape but could use a few kitchen items, mixing bowls, silverware, a spatula. Make sure to bring a large water container, and fill it up at Warm lake or North Shore lodge as the pump water is barely potable (iron).
Make sure to bring sugar for the hummingbird feeder too.
And keep an eye out for the rare Flying Squirrel!
Goshawks, coyotes, Sandhills, hot springs, lake swimming, star watching, deer, and trees galore!

Great facility and the upkeep of the cabin has been maintained. I've stayed several times this year and always clean and has the bare minimum of what you need.

It was an amazing visit and if you are wondering if you can snow shoe in there you can. We snowshoed with a dog two packs and a full sled. And we made it in about 3 and half hours to the gorgeous cabin.

Stolle Meadows cabin is in a beautiful area! Warm Lake is just a short drive and there are so many areas to explore near the cabin. The cabin could use some updating. The kitchen table is broken and the twin bed mattress is in bad shape. I suggest bringing cots. The stove and the solar lights were in working condition. If you are planning a stay here, I suggest bringing some mouse traps. There is a mouse that kept running around in the oven and I believe that it may be nesting in or near that twin bed. Other than the mouse, it was a wonderful stay!

Heads up, solar lights are not working, pump water is pretty funky, there is one queen sized bed and one twin (no second pullout) and no can opener. Stunning as always, just pack accordingly!

My experience exceeded my expectations. We had a great ski in. The cabin was in great shape. Really appreciated the folks who were there prior. They had wood split and cabin was very clean. The area is beautiful. Was a really fun experience and we also split wood and cleaned for the next visitors.
Thanks to the forest service
