It was our 17th year at Stolle, so we’re obviously biased. The cabin’s in great shape but could use a few kitchen items, mixing bowls, silverware, a spatula. Make sure to bring a large water container, and fill it up at Warm lake or North Shore lodge as the pump water is barely potable (iron).
Make sure to bring sugar for the hummingbird feeder too.
And keep an eye out for the rare Flying Squirrel!
Goshawks, coyotes, Sandhills, hot springs, lake swimming, star watching, deer, and trees galore!

Great facility and the upkeep of the cabin has been maintained. I've stayed several times this year and always clean and has the bare minimum of what you need.

It was an amazing visit and if you are wondering if you can snow shoe in there you can. We snowshoed with a dog two packs and a full sled. And we made it in about 3 and half hours to the gorgeous cabin.
