What Guests Are Saying
Stolle Meadows Cabin offers a lovely experience with beautiful scenery and well-maintained facilities. While the cabin is in great shape, some kitchen items could be added for convenience, and guests should bring their own water and sugar for hummingbird feeders. The area is rich in wildlife and outdoor activities, making it a delightful retreat.

Excellent cabin. Went to check out Vulcan Hot Springs but unfortunately discovered quite a few chiggers, who also discovered us. Couldn’t figure out why we were itchy, until we saw them and had cut our soak short. Trail Creek hot springs were excellent on the way out though!

Loved Stolle Meadows guard station cabin! Warm Lake was very close, Juniper Mountain Outfitters was just across the street, Vulcan hot springs down the road, and countless trails to hike. Sit on the porch and watch the humming birds fight for position. Will definitely be back.

Cabin was nice, lots of wood and stove was warm. But there was rat poop on literally everything and could hear them running around in the attic all night... no hantavirus yet... keeping my fingers crossed! Haha! It was an adventure. Will probably try a different cabin next time though.

Had a wonderful time at Stolle Meadows Guard Station. During our stay in mid October we had a strong snow storm hit and dump a couple feet of snow within a couple days. There was a fully loaded wood shed that turned out to be superb amenity. Clean and organized setup and that makes for a smooth enjoyable stay.
However, the only issue we had was a few people parking on the property in the driveway, trying to access an area behind the cabin. Which was a major reason I booked it in the first place.

Don't get me wrong by the fair review rating! My husband and I love the outdoors and everything that comes with it, but the Stolle meadows cabin was a little much for us. There happens to be a VERY LARGE PACK RAT that lives in the upstairs. When I say large I mean 10 lbs..for a rodent! During the day it is very quiet and peaceful. As soon as the lights go off it will be everywhere running around...it was even under our bed just hanging out. I've slept in hammocks and plenty of tents but this for me was a whole other level of WILD. The pros: Fully stocked wood! GREAT and toasty wood stove plenty of dishes and a pump for water out side. The location is beautiful. The rat though wasnt worth it to us!
