My experience exceeded my expectations. We had a great ski in. The cabin was in great shape. Really appreciated the folks who were there prior. They had wood split and cabin was very clean. The area is beautiful. Was a really fun experience and we also split wood and cleaned for the next visitors.
Thanks to the forest service

The first of our party of three drove in just after 2:00 pm. He hiked into one of the hot springs and did his rock hound thing. He was back at the cabin by 4:30pm. Wolves howling back and forth with each other till dusk.
My brother and I drove in after 9:00pm. Paved road had patches of ice. Dirt road had 3-5 inches of packed snow on it. Was 0 degrees with clear skies. Beautiful, but cold night.
Found cabin in good shape and clean. Lighting system was not working, but recreation.gov warned us before we went in. Cabin stayed warm thought the night. We restocked the firewood and cleaned the cabin before leaving.
Had a great time. Thanks!

Great stay at Stolle, rained most the time unfortunately but we made the most of it. Checked out 3 of the 4 recommended natural hot springs in the area. Only Molly's hot springs/tub was soakable and recommended, the others are too small of pools or not worth it however the hikes are still pleasant.

The family and I had a great time. The solar power lights worked great. The cabin is well equipped, roomy, and has a propane stove. The site was easy to drive to, clean, and has a hand pump water source. We didn’t use the dish, cook, or eating wear as we brought our own. A mouse was seen and heard on the first night, but we kept our food stuffs in plastic bins so no rodent problems where had.
Recommend bringing blankets or extra sleeping bags to use on the beds. The local water source has iron in it, may want to bring your own water as well.
