We arrived after dark in a light rain. The camp host met us and gave us the necessary details to find our spot and feel comfortable. Beautiful spot for sure!

We had a great time, but definitely prefer Trail Creek campground because they have access to the River from every campsite. Mike Harris was pretty empty, so it was quiet. There were less bugs because of the lack of water, so that was good. Bathrooms were clean. We don't like how deep the fire pits are! They make your wood burn twice as fast. We went through 4 bundles of wood in one night, which is twice as much as what we usually go through.

Arrived after the road closing to Jackson. Because of that this campground was quiet and not very full. There is separation between most campsites with lots of trees for shade. The host was very nice and the pit toilets were spotless.
