My family and I have been coming here since my kids were little. This year, we brought my 2 young grandsons here and they loved it, too!

One our most favorite places to visit each summer. We had a double space which was more than enough room for all of us to enjoy ourselves. Swam in the river, visited the hot springs and caught a couple of fish from the bridge. We will be back next summer for sure

Very clean and beautiful campsite. Wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it more.

We love this campground, though it was certainly crazy over July 4 with 3-4 families staying in many single campsites. We got a few quiet sessions in the hot springs, but one time it went from two of us to over 30(!) from one family group in 15 minutes. Not a problem except they took over the spring for over two hours. We were prepared for a lot of exuberant campers during the holiday, though, and everyone was quiet after 10 pm.
Pros:
No ATVs allowed.
Paved road, trail to swimming hole, and sites keep down the dust and are great for kids on bikes and people in wheelchairs.
Roomy, beautiful sites with good separation from other campers, nice tent pads, tables, fire rings, and stove/grille tables.
Hot springs is drained every night so no loud parties at it.
Many places along the river to set up your chairs, even if your site is across the road.
Nice little nature trail and swimming hole at the far end of the campground.
Cons (do better, campers!):
Our site was peppered with small garbage, confetti, candy wrappers, melted marshmallows, and chicken bones that my dog ate. :-(
Our picnic table and grille table were covered with sticky juice, ketchup, and grease. No wonder a bear was reported nearby.
The previous campers left a honey bucket full of feces and/or diapers in the bushes at our site. So gross! Many thanks to the host for promptly taking care of it.
Non-stop ATV and side-by-side traffic across the river on the holiday weekend were loud and created a lot of dust.

The campground was awesome. Rest rooms were clean and spotless. Campground host are doing s superior job. Lots of Ponderosa pine trees. Shady camp site 10 A and 11 A. I complain there is not enough room for a 5th wheel and truck in the limited parking space. The truck ends up in the roadway a little. Could cause an accident

This is a well taken care of campground. There was a problem with the potable water, but that was taken care of. The worst thing was that there was a dead elk calf that made the evenings almost unbearable, could of used a gas mask

The facility's restrooms and dressing rooms and hot pool area was clean. It was easy to get around the camp area and the river was refreshing. We enjoyed the proximity of the Camp area to Featherville, Pine, and the Trinity lake areas. I know it depends on the season and weather but we encountered very few mosquitos or snakes. We like the fact that all ATV and Trail Motor Cycles could to roam through the camp grounds and the roads in the camp ground were paved. Overall we really enjoyed the camp grounds.

Lots of hiking trails outside and near the campground. Hot spring was very busy but were able to find a couple times that weren't TOO busy to soak. Beautiful area and site was nice and well kept. Will camp here again (we tent camp)
