My family stayed in U14... perfect location!! bathroom and water across from us and the creek behind us. bathroom was always clean and stocked, didnt stink like alot of places. everyone we dealt with was very friendly. the Phone box... for cell service was kind of entertaining... but .. glad the service was available, nice to be able to check in with our kid that stayed home for work... Camp sites were well layed out and clean, plenty of room between camps so some privacy could be had... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! WE WILL BE BACK!! THANK YOU!!! Chris/Heather/family

Great improved campground. No bugs last weekend of July - didn't even put on spray! There are a few sites in the Lower Peace Valley Loop that are either walk in or right on the path to the walk bridge to go to the creek/Silver Creek Plunge hot springs. We spent most of the time at that campsite with friends and slept at our campsite further up the loop. Shocked how many large trailers with generators were in this campground considering the road. Lots of sedans were up at the hot springs, not a terrible road, just really steep and windy. Sites on the west side of the loop are close enough to hear road traffic, sites on the east side for the most part back up to the creek. The weekend we went it was 95 degrees in camp, 105 in Boise - keep this in mind if you're looking to escape the heat as it is only in the 4000-4500' range. Will add this as an early season camp out or do a day trip up to the springs.

Our stay at Silver Creek plunge was nice and quiet for the most part. We always have a nice stay in their campgrounds. We love coming up to this place to relax and swim in the pool. That is our grandsons most favorite thing to do. They did enjoy jumping into the creek in a deep spot as well. The pool is just the right temp not too hot, except on very hot days it does feel hotter, but its just the right temp to relax and work out sore muscles. We are sad to know that the owners are selling, but understandable. They are a nice family. We hope that the new owners will keep the cabins and pool area open to the public. If I had the money, I would buy the place.

Was a very fun place for the kids, rode around on our scooters. River was low enough in July to not have to worry. Water hookup available so you don't to fill up till you get there. Bring enough fire wood, affordable bundles in crouch. Dirt road can be challenging if people come down to fast as you're going up. Road could use some improvements around turns.

This was our first visit to this campground. Please put a direction sign on the roadway driving from Crouch to the campground. There is only a sign coming from the other direction. We ended up going way out the way and had to turn around. Our site was by the creek. Campground is clean. Our site has was large with a nice picnic table, firepit and a groomed spot for a tent. Lots of trees for shade and a pathway to the creek. Clean restroom and drinkable water close by. Silver Creek Plunge is in walking distance. They have ice cream and a few necessities, also there is limited cell service in this area. Bring your mask because no one does social distancing or mask wearing.
We hiked the Rattlesnake trail #032. Difficult trail that was supposed to lead to an old lookout station, unfortunately we weren't able to get there due to the trail not having any maintenance the last mile but still an amazing view.

The Silver Creek area is so beautiful. But the campground is cramped. We had a lovely creekside pad, but it turned out to be lame. We had people walking behind our spot along the creek constantly. We had multiple people pass through our campsite to get to/from the creek. It felt uncomfortable and was annoying. We didn’t bother going into the Silver Creek plunge pool because so many people were there.

I've been camping here since I was a toddler. Such special memories even though a lot has changed.
