We love the Silver Creek Campground. It's clean and well kept. Spaces are spread out enough that you don't feel like you're camping on top of each other.

We quite enjoyed our stay at the Silver Creek camground. It was a lovely spot right next to the river. The facilities were kept up, though there is no dumpster so you have to pack out your trash. The forest road to get there was a little more rugged than we were expecting but doable. There are a lot of places in the area to dirt bike and there are a few hikes nearby, though they are not great for kids. But the area was beautiful and fun to explore.

Men's bathroom was very clean. My wife said the woman's bathroom wasn't quite as clean. Overall a well maintained campsite.

Our campsite was excellent. Right next to Silver Creek on both sides of us. We were the only ones in the upper camp ground for the 3 days we were there. Was very peaceful. We stayed from Monday to Thursday. Silver Creek Plunge was pretty much empty too.

The only think I would say need fixed is there no sign to tell us where to turn so we took the very bad road since we had never been up there.

From Boise, travel north on Highway 55 to Banks. Turn east on the Banks-Lowman Highway and continue east for 8 miles toward Garden Valley. Turn north on Middle Fork Road (Forest Road 698) and pass through Crouch, continuing north on the Middle Fork Road approximately 16 miles to the "Y" (698 to Boiling Springs and 671 Silver Creek Road). Turn northeast (a right turn) on Silver Creek Road and continue 8 miles to the campground.

Single campsites are allowed ONE vehicle. Double campsites are allowed TWO vehicles. A fee of $5 per day will be collected for extra vehicles at the Silver Creek Plunge General Store. |

This campground has first-come, first-served sites. Please register and pay for these campsites at the Silver Creek Plunge General Store. |

Quiet Hours are from 11pm until 9am. All generators must be turned off by 11pm. |

This is a pack-in/pack-out campground. You must take all garbage with you when you leave. Any trash left behind will result in a fine. |

Campfires must NOT be left unattended at any time. ALL campfires must be fully extinguished before leaving. Any campfires left hot, smoldering or burning will be fined. |
