THE LISTING IS INCORRECT. IT ONLY SLEEPS 3 PEOPLE. 2 SINGLE BEDS AND ONE COUCH FUTON. IF YOU WANT MORE TO SLEEP THERE I RECCOMEND BRINGING A BED MAT TO SLEEP ON.

Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, running water, and the peaceful surroundings, making it ideal for escaping city life. We have been staying there every winter for seven years. We enjoy the solitude and being off grid. Since there was very little snow this year, we did not see a single person in the five days that we were there. We always bring a project to make the cabin a little better. we are very thankful for the US forest service for making these cabins and yurts available. We do hope that they will do some very necessary repairs and repainting before the cabin deteriorates to an unusable state.

We love this cabin! Second time there for my birthday and it's becoming an annual thing. Beautiful hike just out the front door. Rustic, simplistic, and peaceful. Just what we need to escape busy city life and noise.

Lovely cabin and area. Quiet. Check the futon is assembled correctly or it may collapse in the middle of the night.
Bring mouse traps.
Kitchen is well equipped.
Love the new curtains and rocking chair. The rocking chair was wonderful for middle of the night wake ups with our infant. Thank you Wes and Sheila for the loving care you've put into this special place.
Many thanks to the forest service for providing so much wood to burn in the wood stove.

:-) if I say enough nice and wonderful things about this cabin tucked away from the hustle and bustle more people will want to rent it. and there'll go the neighborhood, jk! Sincerely though, I love the little community that cares for this gem. every time we come visiting there are new supplies or additions that really helps out the overall sustainability. Things such as left over paper products, instant coffee, or fresh wash cloths. One guy even left a note that he filled 137 nail holes. It takes a village, and I agree. thanks for the opportunity to be a part of that.

Cozy cabin with great scenery. Beaver creek was steps away, and very nice but short 2 mi out and back hike along the river. Prwtty secluded for being close to boise. Kitchen was fully stocked, nice fridge, only thing id add was a can opener, one there was broken and mine not much better. Nice warming up to the wood stove at night. Definitely will stay again.
