We have come to this campground a couple of times. Both times were great. We love that they have a grey tank dump station, and that they had potable water spouts to use. We have stayed in F loop and B loop. Both were equally as good. It’s a beautiful campground, tall trees and the river not far away. You want to have mosquito spray because of the river, lots of mosquitoes; but not annoyingly. Definitely recommend.

easy on and off the highway. Roads mostly paved. Some sites have direct access to the river, or you can access right off the bridge at the Sinclair gas station. Water is very calm. Be prepared to feed the mosquitoes as soon as the sun goes down. Lots of water spigots to fill your tank- although they’re a bit hidden. And weren’t we surprised when F07 was not what it showed on the map or description. It’s actually a pull thru and one up from the campsite map. Sites are paved but many not level. Beautiful area.

Always a nice, relaxing place to vacation. We love Mesa Falls, Quake Lake, Big Springs, West Yellowstone, Yellowstone Park, Yellowstone Playhouse, and just enjoying the beauties of the area.

Buffalo is the best campground in Island Park. Loop C, site 6 is almost perfect in terms of distance to water, grey water disposal, and restrooms. The door of our RV faces into the forest with no one on that side. It’s quiet, peaceful, and has lots of shade.

restrooms are not handicap accessible. Restrooms are not lighted. Bear box layout is questionable, each 2 campsites share one box, not close to either site. Everything else is very good.

We reserved our site for three nights. The camp hosts were wonderful - very attentive, professional, and friendly. The sites were well-cared-for, the toilets were kept as clean as could be, and the camp hosts made sure we knew about current bear activity. The two sites we ended up using were nicely shady (we had a tent.) We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to going again soon!

Very nice campground. Clean. Sites adequately spaced. Easy to get to, that is right off the highway. Plenty of room for our 32-foot motorhome.

Clean sites, well spaced out for privacy. Camp manager called to make sure we would be there on time and later stopped by personally to welcome us to the camp.

I stayed for four nights. I attended a fly fishing event in West Yellowstone and spent a couple of days fishing the ranch section of the Henry's Fork. The campground was clean and quiet. Will be back someday.
