I loved the smell of pine trees, the beautiful sunset on the reservoir, and the clean campground.

We managed to get our 40 foot class A RV into site number 1. The site was decent. But the road to the campground is atrocious. I should not have attempted it even though I was successful. It is very narrow and potholes are unavoidable. Like driving through an earthquake. The drive popped out our windshield. Branches scratched the side of the coach in many places. It was not a wise stop for us. The scenery and the river we were beside were stunning. But the drive in and out was horrible. If they would just grate the 2.8 miles of gravel road three or four times a year it would make a huge difference.

Exceptionally clean and the sites are well spaced. The reservoir gets busy with motorized boat traffic racing in circles with screaming teens, which is unfortunate. Puts a damper on an otherwise excellent spot.

Great campground! We had a double spot which proved plenty of space. Our spot was adjacent to the lake but hidden by trees providing privacy, shade and access to lake. Cleanest bathrooms I have seen for a non-flush toilet.

This camp is phenomenal- the camp hosts were incredible, and the nature is beautiful and diverse. The bathrooms were so super clean, smelled good and had hand sanitizer, the water from the spicket was clear and fresh, and the best ever was the lake and the docks. We swam daily- super clear water and a family friendly lake. We loved it- a bear walked by our camp, a huge beautiful grizzly, but we had no problem. Just bear proof your camp!

A beautiful campground next to Island Park Reservoir. The bathrooms on B loop have been recently remodeled and were immaculately clean. The campground was quiet and clean. Note that you are not allowed to ride ATV/UTVs in the campground but there is a good spot to park them right at the entrance near the camp host. We actually appreciate not having them in the campground. Made for a more relaxing, less dusty camping adventure.
