I've always wanted to stay in a yurt and this was wonderful! Check in was easy, our yurt clean, beds ready, lights, and even the ability to check a heater for added comfort. But we didn't need it as we were there for the camping experience. We stayed warm with her blankets and wearing 2 layers of clothes.
We would stay again.

Its a nice camp! The greeter was really nice! Easy check in. Tents are to be expected! They are decent, beds have a lot of blankets on them for warmth! You can also rent a heater, if it feels like you will get to cold! All in all, seems like a good deal, your still camping without the hassle of pitching your own tent.

Tents are a bit smaller than they appear in pictures, but are comfortable considering the experience is camping. There's plenty of bathrooms that seem to be cleaned often and water doesn't run out as long as other campers are respectful and using it for intended purposes. Views were beautiful and staff did everything they could to provide a wonderful experience while reminding visitors this *is* camping. Do not expect a hotel room or a cabin when coming to stay and enjoy the atmosphere for what it is!

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon the second week of June. We stayed for two nights and greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff went above and beyond! They brought us a cute bouquet with some waters which was so kind and thoughtful. They were so friendly and you could tell they were genuinely happy that we were there. The location has moved since last summer but they sent an email a few weeks prior informing us of the new location and then send a reminder text the day of. It wasn’t hard to find at all, though there were some major pot holes (to be expected on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere) so take it slow. We had the most beautiful view from our tent. The beds were so comfy and kept us surprisingly warm, even though it rained through the night, we wore hoodies and sweats and were just fine. Though they do have heaters you can rent for your stay if you need to be warmer. It is camping after all so you can’t expect it to be like a luxurious hotel. They have bathrooms and showers with running water. Such a fun and unique experience. I'd recommend it!! It’s quiet and scenic and if you look out at the fields surrounding it you can see pronghorn and bald eagles. On our way out to go to the Playhouse Mill we stopped and talked to the staff. They were some of the kindest people I’ve met. So to the two cute staff members who told us to tell them how the Playhouse Mill was, we 10/10 recommend.

Overall good experience, but definitely some areas that could be improved upon. The tents were as expected, beds were comfy enough but not enough blankets for the weather in the region. You can rent a heater but it's extra and doesn't run for very long. Wish they provided more blankets or just included the heater as part of the already relatively high nightly fee. Camp managers were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were definitely the biggest negative, they smelled very bad and the shower was almost unusable. It required you to continuously pull a metal string to get the water going and you had to wait a while for it to warm up and then try to shower one handed. They don't provide towels which leads to a very messy bathroom since people can't really clean up after themselves. But the smell was by far the biggest deterrent. Location was good but lots of noise from nearby road at night. Saw a very pretty sunset. There was food truck available for breakfast and dinner but we didn't try it - not many options for dietary restrictions.
