Bull Trout

Nice clean campground. Tricky getting the camper onto 007 but I made it work! Great trip and we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful lakes narrowly missed by the big Wapiti fire. Adjacent to the Warm Springs trail. Host is a bit of a stickler, and keeps the toilets spotless.

I had a beautiful stay here, the lakes are gorgeous and staying up to see the stars is worth it. My campsite was closer to Martin Lake which is significantly smaller, giving it a more secluded and cozy feeling. There is a small fishing dock and bench to sit and look out by the water. The water was still and it was perfect for a silent kayak ride at sunset. At Bull Trout lake there are life jackets you can borrow, but there isn’t a similar supply at Martin. The campsites are spaced well but some areas have less trees so you’re still visible to those next to you. The road to drive in was gravel and rocky in areas, but I was able to make it in my 15’ Honda Accord during July. Make sure you have sufficient clearance especially in rough weather.

Scenery was amazing and quiet, campsite was large and camphost was amazing!

In all fairness and transparency - we did not stay in site 25 where we had our reservations.
We chose to take a first come first serve site next to the water instead and let the host do what ever she wanted with this reserved site.

The chosen first come first serve site was absolutely beautiful and a much larger space. We would hands down stay here again.

Beth (camp host) is tough but very nice. She runs a tight ship and we are lucky she is there.
Please, please, please empty the vaults!!!!

Need refund, campsite was closed, mudslides and fires

A public beach should be built to take Strain off of the launching ramp area.

Great place but the fish were not biting. Will definitely go back

-AVOID ON WEEKENDS-
Site #9 is next to the public boat launch and becomes overloaded with vehicles trying to cram in, there are only 4 parking spots for the boat launch but many more constantly show up and block each other in & attempt to block the paid campsite parking spots. The camp host had to show up every 30m and make folks leave. Groups setup 10 yards from paid sites #9/#10 and treat it like a day use area. The off leash dogs running into our camp and hours of screaming children really ruin the relaxing mountain lake vibe. RV generators, dirt bikes, groups crammed into single sites, off leash dogs everywhere, partying, blaring music & people yelling for hours after 10pm quiet time.

Half the campground left Sunday morning, then it becomes a peaceful and very enjoyable place to be. Paddleboarding and catching brook trout every cast is hard to beat. Just do it on a weekday.
