Bull Trout is a beautiful lake and perfect for paddling, as no motorized craft are allowed. Be aware that only a few sites along the lake are large enough for larger trailers and motorhomes, and several of those are not flat nor do they have room for slide outs. The sites along the Martin Lake loop are much better suited for RVs.

Bull Trout is a beautiful lake and perfect for paddling, as no motorized craft are allowed. Bull Trout Lake was a great experience. There are a few campsites around the lake and they are small but awsome. Some only big enough for tents. Adjacent to the campground is another which will accomodate any size trailor and has many sites.
We saw eagles, ospray and caught fish. Very peaceful and fun

We left a day early due to "screeching child" in the next campsite over. Went an found a boon docking sit it was quite, no bugs, and NO screeching children. Plus it was free, plan on doing more and more of this type of camping.

From Boise, Idaho, take State Street to Highway 55 north. At Banks, take Highway 17/Banks-Lowman Highway to Lowman. Take Highway 21 east to milepost 107. Turn left on Forest Road 520. Proceed on dirt road 2 miles to the campground.
The campground is accessible via Highway 55 to the north from Boise, and Highway 21 to the east near Lowman.
