We had a great time. Beautiful and the weather was perfect. Mosquitoes were definitely there, so bring bug spray.

We had to leave because there were thousands of flies and we were eaten alive by mosquitos with big spray on. Don't go here unless you know it's completely dry and everything's been melted.

The guard station cabin was great. Tons of firewood, the little wood stove kept us warm and the scenery was beautiful.

Have stayed here before in the past and was disappointed this time. Cabin needs maintenance that should have been addressed. Broken windows and lots of ants inside cabin. The gate at the bottom of the road has been taken down allowing access to atvs at all hours of day and middle of the night. The new outhouse is an upgrade but the cabin needs some tlc and the gate was a necessity that is sorely missed. Still will be back hoping for better.
