We have come to this site a number of years. We usually rent the group site 2. It has steadily been going down hill. This year was the worst. Bathrooms not maintained, no garbage cans to put trash into, volleyball and horseshoe areas overgrown with weeds. The pavilion was full of debris. If you go make sure to pack your own tp and take it, sense it isn't supplied and you have people stopping to use the restroom.

Only issue was people from the main camp drove over to the group site restroom constantly. Other than that great trip and campground

This campground was exactly what we wanted! Right next to a beautiful spot in the river where we could play all day and a short walk back to our site to make lunch and dinner and end the night with a camp fire. Restrooms were kept clean and stocked with toilet paper. Would love to stay here again!

Though a very good location, there were issues with the facilities. The trash bins were overflowing before our arrival, which did not get emptied until Thursday of our Monday to Saturday stay, forcing us to take trash to the transfer station, instead of adding to the problem, I was disappointed in how many drove in, camping elsewhere to pile their trash at the campsite. The vault toilets were another issue, we had to clean them on our arrival, they were absolutely disgusting. There was no paper in them, fortunately we are always prepared with our own, for just such an event. It was later in the week when the toilets were finally officially cleaned and restocked again. For an unknown reason, there was no Camp Host on-site, which in our experience prevents just such issues. We did have a good time, but the above could have certainly been better.

Elks Flat provided a great place for a family reunion. We had plenty of space and loved being in the woods and near the river. We had plenty of trails in the area for using our side by sides.
