Just there one night, but found a spacious quiet spot near the entrance away from the traffic noise. Restrooms were clean with very nice showers, and they have a separate area for washing dishes. The hosts were very helpful and gave me a booklet for the Washington Cascade Loop which was very helpful. Such a beautiful area.

We checked out the site we had reserved the day before our actual reservation and actually no-showed it. The host was helpful in showing us our reserved spot. There also was a beautiful beach. However, this was during a heatwave and there was no water cooling off availability for our Scotties. No observed pet area, no great place to walk dogs. Site 20 was about as far from Hwy 2 and you could stay so probably would not have much road noise. I believe this campground is best suited for petless campers that have boats. Not us. Grassy field area was also being renovated and was unavailable. Host was also courteous in messaging us early in the day saying early check-in was available since site was already vacated. Also had dump available. Nice CG but not for us.

It's a campground next to the highway, so keep that in mind. Beyond that, great place to camp. Camp spots were clean, host was very nice and friendly, had showers and amenities, waterfront was awesome! Went with my 11 and 14 year old boys and we had a great time!

We have stayed at the Mudhole more this month than we’ve stayed at home. Bathrooms are just about always clean, the water is amazing. Super good water pressure in the showers and the camp hosts are super kind! This is our number one spot to camp from now on!

Campground was nice, good amount of shade, restrooms were clean, showers worked great with plenty of hot water. Cleanliness of shower stall a little suspect though, as there was some minor wood debris on the floor that stayed there all week. One night of generators running till 11 at night when the host shut them down. It is a noisy place, as is mentioned on the site description, but many of the local diesel truck and pickup drivers make as much noise as they can at that point on the adjacent highway with their modified exhausts and Jake brakes. It’s intentional, and doesn’t reflect well on the community. It’s childish behavior and shouldn’t be allowed. I will not stay there again.

Great campground with lots of big trees, there is quite a lot of road noise as our spot was close to highway, but on a more positive note great access to the water for many water sports
