We have spent a lot of time in this campground. over the years. This trip was the least favorite time we ever had. The campground host were ridiculous with there efforts to try and keep us off the river. We were harassed by them daily, and the rangers telling us how the river was closed, due to high water volumes. After checking with the Sheriff Office I found out that the river was not closed. The campground launch was closed, no problem there as we had kayaks and could launch anywhere. I have vast experience in moving water and know when water is a danger and when it is not. Even people using the beach were harassed when their children were up to there ankles in water, no where were there signs saying beach closed or no swimming. This was excessive by any strech of the imagination. Other than that it was fine.

This place is just about too good to be true. Unbelievably great camp hosts, nice restrooms, good fishing, and the place is superbly maintained. The town of Priest River is just up the road and has about anything you’d need. They sell firewood here and give the best deal around this area. I absolutely recommend Priest River Campground! 😃👍🦅

I could not find Meadow Creek campground in Recreation.gov's listings. However, I did spend 2 nights there after staying at Priest River Recreation area.
Along the banks of the Moyie river in N Idaho I could not have been happier with this campsite. Above all were the camp hosts Linda and Floyd Garcia. They are the epitome of hospitality; friendly, helpful, and genuine. They will keep me coming back.

I would try to say how good the camp hosts were at this campground but nobody would believe it. We had an excellent experience and have never seen hosts anywhere near this good. If you miss out on this Campground then you miss out indeed.

The camp was spotlessly clean, very hospitable hosts, and the sites were generously sized. The riverside location was nice. The only downside was the very nearby highway with lots of traffic noise.

Nice, clean, well kept, very professional and pleasant, willing to help.
Beautiful water front. Very pleasant couple of days.
Some allowance for variation in camp spots would be nice, we noticed the camp sites could have been slightly modified by moving logs to make our experience a little closer with our friends.
Thank you
