Great place but very dusty. Mostly came to go to silverwood but everyone was great.

Very nice park on the small side but big sites. The main complaint from others was road noise but it was not too bad

The highway was very loud. The campsite was too close to the bathroom at night as the lights were too bright.
The campsite was clean, and I appreciated the intimacy yet the campsites had privacy.

Let me start out with the location. It’s a really nice campground and close to water. The swimming spot is sort of a small area but it still is a great place for swimming. The camping spots are kind of right on top of each other which brings me into why I gave this place only 2 stars. Had it not been for the closeness of the water it would have been 1 star. For starters, we were a group of moms who wanted to get away and have a fun camping trip. We understand this spot is more family friendly which is fine! We had never been to this spot prior. Anyways, 2 of us got there before everyone else in our group and immediately the park “host” came around to let them know not once but TWICE that quiet time was 10pm as tho we were going to be a problem. It was the same person so he knew he had already told them once before. At 930 he came around and we decided to chat with him. A lady walked up and stood there while we talked to him to complain TO HIM WITH US RIGHT THERE pretty much about our generator AT 930! It wasn’t even quiet time yet. We were planning to have it shut off by 10 but we had just got done cooking some food. The next day, we went to the beach and left our generator running while we were gone to charge some of our stuff. At 730 the park ranger came by and stated people were complaining AGAIN about it. Mind you, again, this is before quiet time. At this point we were fed up with the complaints and “bothering” people so we decided to take our propane fire pit to the beach, which we were told we could do that Friday. Not even 15 mins down there the park ranger comes down to yell at us again stating we couldn’t do that. Apparently you can have propane pits under trees but not next to water. Go figure. Needless to say, we will never camp here again. If you have a generator, don’t bother.

The noise of the highway went on all night, the bathrooms were not clean, I cleaned my site, and the mosquitoes were horrible. Fortunately I was just passing through and needed a quick place to stay.

We love to camp here. They welcome our dogs which is the most important thing to us. They have an area for my dogs to cool off without being in the public swimming area. The river is beautiful. We enjoy the people, everyone is friendly. They keep the areas clean, also important to us. We come back year after year.

This is an absolutely beautiful location, nestled in the hills of idaho. It is an excellent place to get away and has lots of options around for hiking and biking.
