Bathrooms, beach, showers, boat launch, friendly camp host... All good stuff. The reason for 3 stars is distance from the highway and how close together the camp spots are. Lots of vehicle and human noise 24 hours per day.

If you are tent camping try to find a spot away from the highway. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful when we wanted to switch spots. The beach was nice and clean. This was a great place for an easy getaway before school started back up again.

Nice little campground in a grove of trees with an adjacent swim area on the Priest River. Also adjacent are a small baseball field and a large open field. Good location for those with kids. Restrooms and showers were above average and kept clean by the friendly hosts...Road noise from Hwy 2 and the nearby intersection was always present.

We were in spots #9 & 11. Spot#11, in my opinion, is made for a camper/trailer and not for tents. We had to set up our tent within the border of space on gravel as well as having your vehicle, picnic bench, and fire pit within this area. The spots are alittle close, but, hey....it's camping. We all had a great time and the bathrooms were very clean.

Our site was easy to get to and easy to back into. I just wished that we were a little bit further away from the highway. I wish that fresh water had standard hose fittings but restrooms were clean and close.

Very dry. All the spots feel like there is no privacy due to layout and lack of grass and bushes. Showers were fine and park area was nice. I feel the lack of privacy was why I am giving low rating. Host were nice.

We have camped at the "Mudhole" for the past several years. We enjoy it very much. The lots are clean and we feel safe. The attendants are always friendly and helpful. The only suggestion would be to have the attendants or rangers check the play structure for wasp nests. There were several on the structure and a little boy was stung 7 or 8 times while we were there. Overall great experience and we will continue to camp there
