Riley Creek is consistently praised for its clean and well-maintained facilities, spacious and private campsites, and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground offers great amenities like a swimming beach, walking trails, and a dog-friendly area, contributing to a fun and family-friendly atmosphere. While some guests experienced minor issues like limited restroom facilities and noise from nearby sources, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Exceptionally well maintained campground. Campsites are discreetly placed to allow one to feel isolated. Clean restrooms. Good walking paths and access to the river. Camphosts pleasant and available.

Riley Creek is a hidden gem. The camp sites are level, clean, and large. The river is close, there are plenty of trails and shore line, and the bathrooms are clean. I did not try the showers but they looked to be clean also. I will definitely come back! The park rangers and volunteer camp hosts were all friendly and helpful!

We camp at Riley Creek at least once a year. It is such a great campground. Very peaceful. Nice paths to walk and ride bikes. The bathrooms/showers were clean and greatly appreciated.
My only complaint is that it is difficult to get a reservation yet there are always many sites that are empty. Not sure why so many people reserve but don’t show up or cancel.

There was no one in the office for us to check ( this was on a Tuesday at 2pm). We went to our site( no yellow tag up to say it was reserved). Camp only came around when we were 10 minutes late in checking out of our site. They did tell us that we could do ark our truck and trailer in the boat trailer lot, so we could visit longer with our friends. Restroom were in great shape, nice and clean. Love having gravel in sites and paved roads for walking or bike riding, walking around with a walker(me)

From Highway 2 in Laclede, Idaho, turn south onto Riley Creek Road, then continue about 1 mi to the campground entrance.
