The camping at Riley Creek is always the highlight of my camping season. The facilities are amazing including the paved parking, the swimming area and the covered gathering area by the swimming area. The weather wasn't the best for the first part of out stay for swimming but it's September.

Riley Creek is my favorite close to home campground. I especially enjoy the dog island. As a single camper I always feel safe and it is so peaceful! Restrooms are always clean and the grounds are well maintained!

Great facilities. Great atmosphere for families. You don’t have any privacy between campsites but otherwise great. Off leash area for dogs

Large private campsites in an awesome setting almost surrounded by water. Too bad it closed for the season a bit early!

I absolutely positively love riley creek. My husband had to work. So he came out the first night and then left me camping by myself. (I did have friends next to me.) My dog and I stayed there by ourselves for 5 nights. I was never afraid to be by myself. Very peaceful all my camping neighbors said just yell if I needed anything. 🙂 see you next year. We have 2 different reservations Sept 7th to the 19 and the 19th to the 20th. We had to leave on the 19th. My husband is a heart patient he had an episode so we left on sat the 19th. But the first 13 days were GREAT!

The sites were nice with some privacy. There was a nice walking path along the river with some fishing docks and a swimming area.

From Highway 2 in Laclede, Idaho, turn south onto Riley Creek Road, then continue about 1 mi to the campground entrance.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
