This campground has large flat sites. Even in July campfires were allowed. The off leash area on Doggie Island is large and shaded. We liked the trails along the river.

We love Riley Creek! It’s one of our most favorite places to camp. The thing we noticed this year especially, was that getting in to a camp site was so much harder, and then there were multiple spaces open (at least 6) where people didn’t cancel and didn’t show up. There needs to be stronger no show policies.

Sites were spacious and for the most part, shady. Bathrooms were clean. The beach was beautiful, and there was a nice sandy-bottomed swimming area. Nice path around the perimeter of the campground for walking and biking.
The only downside was the noise from the nearby highway and the logging business located just outside the entrance to the campground.

A very well kept campground. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Restrooms are clean. The beach area is great for the whole family. We enjoy our annual family camping trip at Riley creek each year.
