It's just so hard to reserve a spot. For us Seniors, it's hard to sit at the computer and attempt to get a site 6 months out. Sure wish there was an easier way for us Old Folks.

Riley Creek is consistently praised for its clean and well-maintained facilities, spacious and private campsites, and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground offers great amenities like a swimming beach, walking trails, and a dog-friendly area, contributing to a fun and family-friendly atmosphere. While some guests experienced minor issues like limited restroom facilities and noise from nearby sources, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Electric and water available at each site. All in all very nice campground the only negative I had was you must reserve online. In my travels I don’t always no exactly where my next stay will be and most with first come are cash only. So sometimes I don’t have money in bank it’s all in cash. So that’s my only negative for this location. It would be great if a few where first come

Lovely camping area. Nice amount of space between sites. Plenty for kids to do with playground, trails, swim beach and biking. Boat launch and basin for mooring. Quiet areas to canoe or kayak. Several restrooms, all of which are clean. Dump station is handy on the way out.

We had a wonderful stay at Riley State Park. It was one of the cleanest campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Very nice to have the showers in the ladies room private. There was plenty of hot water. The sites are far enough away from each other that it felt like your space was your own. The only negative thing I had to say was that the spaces were all back in. Difficult to back into with a big rig. Once you were in, it was spacious.

The fun town of Sandpoint is so close to the park with great restaurants. The park attendants are friendly and helpful!

From Highway 2 in Laclede, Idaho, turn south onto Riley Creek Road, then continue about 1 mi to the campground entrance.
