Very Nice and large site, Volunteer hosts do a good job . US Army Core needs to put money into paying these kind folks better. Riley Creek is popular so a percentage of non reserved sites would allow campers the opportunity to enjoy on a first come/served basis.
Also signs on "handicapped " bathroom/ showers Should show LARGE wheel chair logo to discourage young healthy campers from monopolizing these facilities . Thanks for a great stay !

In 2023 we had paid campground hosts and the campground was kept in immaculate condition. In 2024 we have volunteers and they don’t put as much pride in maintaining the campground as was done in prior years. The rest rooms are not as clean as they used to be and are not cleaned on a regular basis. The fire pits are not maintained and today are way too full of burned ash. Please bring back our paid hosts. We spend usually five to seven weeks at Riley Creek and love it and miss the maintenance.

We have been to this campground for several years now. We always have such a great time! Always clean, family friendly, lots to do! The reservation process could use some help. We had to move halfway through our stay to another site to make our trip the full 5 days we wanted. And the site we moved from remained empty through the remainder of our stay-so we wouldn’t have needed to move if people learned to cancel their reservations. Was disappointed to see so many empty/unused sites. I know the campground still gets paid if people show up or not, but so unfortunate for those of us who lose out on spots to people who no show.

- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee.
