We love camping at Riley Creek. Peaceful and well taken care of. A camp host (JOHN) came to our rescue when our hitch pin lock broke when we were hooking up to leave. Luckily John had a spare hitch pin that he graciously gave us so we were able to get home safely.
Our only complaint is people reserving spots and not showing up but not cancelling so that others can get a spot. We saw many camp spots that had reserved signs and dates but were never used. This seems to be a big problem everywhere. Not sure how you can stop that but it sure is frustrating when we try to find camping spots.

Campground was clean. Staff was very friendly and professional. Location was great. All areas were well maintained. Restrooms were time tested but clean and well stocked.

I camp here twice a year. It is always clean with friendly hosts! Host said next year will be volunteers instead of paid camp hosts. I’m hoping the quality of this camp ground doesn’t go down hill.

Riley Creek campground was a very nice campground. The sites are spacious with lots of space between each campsite. The camp hosts were extremely helpful in explaining the park to us and to make suggestions. The surprising thing to us was that all of the other campers were respectful of not making too much noise at night (or during the day for that matter!)
Our campsite (#31) was a little cramped for backing our 31 foot 5th wheel trailer into as it was a bit of a tight angle, but it worked out alright! The whole park was extremely well kept, the grounds were lovely and the river running by was beautiful.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
