Riley Creek is consistently praised for its clean and well-maintained facilities, spacious and private campsites, and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground offers great amenities like a swimming beach, walking trails, and a dog-friendly area, contributing to a fun and family-friendly atmosphere. While some guests experienced minor issues like limited restroom facilities and noise from nearby sources, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

We used to camp here for 2 weeks at a time back in the 80's with my parents. This place is what made me love camping and now I get to bring my own family here. It's a great place but was not near as popular back then and the way they do reservations now is really difficult to get a spot. They should still offer first come first serve spots for that reason. Love it here though!

This was our third time here this summer. We like the location because of all the surrounding sights to look at like Priest River, Priest lake, Sandpoint, Schweitzer, and many other places. I see Idaho residents upset with out of staters coming to the park saying they are paying for us. The truth is USACE is federal and not funded by your state. We will be back next summer. The camp hosts stay out of your way and it is a well kept park.
