The water access was the best feature about this campground. We planned to ride our bikes but the road was too busy. Also the bike lane over the lake was closed.

The hosts were lovely but site 22 was grossly misrepresented. The site shared a flat area with the adjacent site, meaning you’re separated from them by only a few posts. The sliver of this area that belongs to 22 is tiny compared to that neighbor and every other site. Because it is so tiny, the assigned fire pit and picnic table are fully past the dividing posts and inside the other site. The hosts helped me move the picnic table to my site and I did not need a fire pit, but to advertise that these things are available then have them be fully in another site is asinine. Having to pay full price for this site is preposterous as well. The existence of this site as an entity separate from the neighboring site does not make sense. There was also no dirt area to set up a tent like other sites had so the tent needed to go on the flat pad which was partial cement and not able to be penetrated by stakes. If anything, this site should be absorbed into the neighboring site. I can’t imagine what someone would do if they had a larger vehicle or trailer. The one good thing about this site was the quick beach access, which itself was beautiful and well maintained.

The camp hosts were amazing helping me find a spot. But the campground was to noisy with the main road near by. The grounds is narrow with a road on one side and the lake on the other. No real trail to walk a dog. It would be nice to have more benches near the water to sit and enjoy the lake.

Site #27 - This site is lakeside and a perfect location close to the restrooms and beach. It was nice and flat for a tent or small RV. The camp hosts were amazing, attentive and informative. The park ranger drove through a couple of times too. The campground is not far from the main highway or any needed items from a local store. It was safe and very clean. The showers were perfect and the cell service with Verizon was good. The lake is gorgeous and provided an excellent place to do some paddleboarding. Overall I give it 5 stars and will return again of I am in the area. Thanks!

So glad it is open again, the site and grounds were very clean, the “volunteers “ were welcoming and very helpful, Joan (Joyce) and Todd especially.

Camp host was very nice.
We are not campground people, we prefer dispersed camping. So the spots for us were way too close together and the trees made it a little difficult to back our camper into position.
People arrived in the middle of the night waking us up. We left the next morning.

Set up to make sure campers have facilities for bathroom, shower, and outdoor dish washing was so nice. Very well kept. The camp hosts were very friendly. Plan to stay there on our next trip. 😎

Springy Point Campground is clean and well maintained. The bathrooms and showers were nice, and there are easy walking trails nearby to enjoy. The campsites are fairly close together, so there isn't much privacy, but it's a great setup for groups camping together. It's also close to the road, so there is some traffic noise, and I could hear a train at night. Overall, we had a good stay but probably won't camp here again.
