Nicely maintained campground with boat launch and docks. Adequate space and campspot separation. We spend a week here annualy with the family, ski boat, and jetskis and love it.
Be aware, however, that the campground is terraced, on a hillside, and some of the campspots have extremely steep entrance/departure angles. Just because a space is long enough to fit your long camp trailer doesn't mean that you'll actually be able to get your trailer into the spot. Spaces closer to the lake tend to be flatter and not have this challenge, although there are some higher up spaces that are ok too. It's kind of hard to know until you've actually been there. If you've got a longer trailer (ours is 34'') and this is your first time reserving here, your safest bet is to reserve a spot in the lower loop and then scope out the spots for your next trip. You will definitely want to come back again.
Also, it's a long, steep, twisty climb up to the campground from the town of Orofino, so if you have a big rig, be prepared for that. Just take it slow and you'll be fine. And use lower gears on the way back down to avoid overheating the brakes.
