We had a very pleasant stay at this campsite, surrounded by trees, very well maintained and overall enjoyable. There are many paths to go adventure, our favorite was the nature trail which was a nice easy walk for anyone. The camphost was amazing! From the start he worked with us to switch to a spot more accommodating for our trailer, all while making us smile. So nice! They did a great job at making the campground clean and enjoyable. There is a long dirt road to get to the campground, but worth it to get up to the beautiful trees and peaceful area. Tip, put your garbage up at night, some friendly critters come down for supper if not.

Disgustingly filthy campground overrun by grazing cattle--everywhere at the campsites are cow patties. Surely it can't be that difficult to maintain the fences and cattle guards to keep cattle out of the campground and the camp sites!

Loved this years trip. Camp host were fantastic people and were on top of everything. Been coming up here yearly for the last few years and this was one of the best ones.

This campground is far from Lava Hot Springs, but in a very beautiful area. It's secluded—a tree-filled pocket with some picturesque, hidden campsites and a lovely nature trail. Give yourself extra time when you're driving because the road is bumpy in places, but we loved our experience. It was a pleasant, beautiful surprise (as were the cows that would wander through the campground from time to time).

Fantastic site and campground!
Site size are true to listed size. We were on site 2 with a 25 ft bumper pull and in site 3 with a 45 ft fifth wheel. While yes it was the biggest they had seen it was manageable.
Sites had great tree coverage, covered tables and good fire pits.

Facilities are well maintained. Group site is huge and we will be looking to reserve that next year.

Our stay was great. Camp host was friendly and very helpful. Road to the campground is narrow and very rough! If road was maintained better, we would definitely stay here again!
