What Guests Are Saying
The Pebble Guard Station offers a beautiful location and a friendly camp host, making it a great spot for larger groups, especially for outdoor activities. However, several issues were reported, including broken shower and stove, cleanliness concerns with bugs and flies, and challenges with access and cell service. Overall, while the setting is appealing, significant maintenance and cleanliness improvements are needed.

Potential renters should be aware that -- despite what the photo shows -- there is NO refrigerator in the cabin. This is NOT mentioned in the "Need to Know" section of this webpage. (It IS mentioned at the very bottom of the Reservation Confirmation email you will get AFTER you have paid for your reservation. I did not notice it way down there in the fine print.) I arrived with a load of perishables, so the next day I had to drive to town for a cooler and ice, and buy more ice every day thereafter. If I had known that there was no fridge I would have rented a different cabin at a cheaper price.
Despite the above, I did enjoy the warm water shower, gas stove, ample space, and the comfortable beds.

Wonderful surroundings. Isolated enough for our family to feel separate from the millions of others who were camped along the creek and at the campground. Cabin was awesome. It was great to have running water! The outhouse smelled like hand sanitizer and NOT like an outhouse! That was a big plus!
