The campsite was excellent, very clean. The campground as a whole appears to be well maintained. The scenery is very nice and the sites are adequately separated. I only gave it a four star rating due to inconsiderate campers who made our camping trip less than perfect. One camper arrived three hours early and blocked our departure by nearly an hour as they had to park their ATVs, utility trailer, camper, etc. going as slow as they could. Another camper dumped their trash in the restroom making a mess.

We stayed during the week and late in the season so there were hardly any other campers around. The camp host was very friendly and our overall impression of the campground was it was being well-kept. There are a number of hiking opportunities that can be accessed from the back side of the "D" loop. The road up to the campground is rather narrow and winding with several switchbacks. However, it is well maintained and we had no issues at all with our 28' trailer. The roads in the campground are narrow as well but we had no trouble getting into our back-in spot as the entrance to all of the back-in spots are quite wide. There are numerous bird varieties and we had 3 moose in our campsite early one morning. We definitely will come back again.

Not every site will have access to water, be aware of flies during the day! Huge swarms came to our campsite!
