We had a wonderful senior (over age 65) picnic from our church at the beautiful Scout Mountain campground. We paid $35 to use the site because we love it and there are no handicapped picnic areas there. No one stayed overnight and we did not start a fire. The host was very kind and felt badly we had to pay so much.

Quiet, secluded spot in the top of the canyon. We try to visit here at least once a year. Love it!

The area is beautiful and the campground is very nice and we've stayed here before. Lots of bees for some reason this time.

I attended a knitting weekend and we were at the group site. It is great for tents but the parking area is small for trailers so I paid for a separate site a bit down the road for my trailer. As always, Scout Mountain is a beautiful and peaceful spot for camping. The host was friendly and helpful.

27 foot trailer is pushing the limits of most camp sites, but we have always found a camping spot. We come in the middle of the week and get our pick of places. People are quiet and responsible, with the camp hosts always helpful and actively present to keep an eye on things.
Many good memories of Scout Mountain over the last 10 years.
Reservations are a good idea on popular weekends or if you don't live nearby.
