What Guests Are Saying
Elk Creek Campground offers well-maintained, spacious, and private campsites in a beautiful setting, ideal for a peaceful getaway. Visitors enjoyed the serene atmosphere, scenic fall views, and convenient electric hookups, with many planning to return. While there were some minor issues, such as limited trash receptacles and occasional noise from logging trucks, the friendly camp hosts and clean facilities contributed positively to the overall experience.

We enjoyed the woods and quietness of the camp with family. The things we didn't like about the camp was poor cleaning of the bathrooms. A sign was posted on door of bathroom that they would be cleaned once a week, but that only meant dropping off 3 rolls of toilet paper for half of a full camp for the week. The bathrooms were so gross we cleaned them ourselves a couple of times. Thankfully we had brought TP ourselves. There was no water at camp when we arrived, but later it was turned on. Considering there were no hosts onsite the sites were in good shape and no loud groups around. Also, there is no garbage pickup there and no where in area to dump the garbage. We would definitely check camp out to see how it was cared for before going back. There was a number posted to call on site post, but was not a functioning number.

Love this campsite. Only issue this time was no water, no camp host, and no maintainance on the toilets. Love the area though. So much to do and see.

Love this campground. The reservations are now a pain and you can’t reserve spots that will be open for walk ins. So it will say full but there’s lots of open spaces now.
We love to fish in the reservoir, take quads up the mountain, visit town for a huckleberry soft serve ice cream. We come every year and will as long as we can
