About Osprey

Campers come to Osprey for sunshine and boating at Priest Lake, and for breathtaking views of the rugged Selkirk Mountains. Fishing is also a big draw, with trout just waiting to be caught. While here, watch for moose, grizzly and black bears, wolves, mountain lions and deer. Osprey, as inferred by the campground name, also inhabit the area.

Beautiful campground really well kept. Only issue we had was the giant storm that came through that blew trees down and made so we could t get ou. However that was taken Care of super quick and our camp host was very good at her job. Bathrooms were flushing toilets and were kept as clean as my own home. Def would come back!

The campground was very quiet and very secluded from other camp spots. We hardly heard anyone. Camp host was very nice and didn’t bother anyone. She was on top of picking up trash. Campground was very clean.

Beautifully treed setting with lake views. I was very pleasantly surprised by a nice, miles long walking path along the shoreline. The public is allowed to walk the path due to shoreline access regulations. We had site #15 which was secluded & close to the clean, flush toilet bathroom with running water.

Great campground host this year!

Very clean, simple campground.
2 tiny, shady "beaches" to access the lake for swimming, which was perfect for me!

I hiked the lakeshore trail about 4 + 1/2 miles up to Luby Bay Campground - which was full, busy, and rather noisy compared to little Osprey.

My only negative comment: a nearby campsite that had a large camp trailer, 3 cars, two loud & obnoxious big dogs, and a generator that the people ran from 9am to 9pm NON-STOP. WTH...?

I will camp at Osprey again.

The campground is well cared for and restrooms are clean (and even has flush toilets!). The setting is gorgeous. The campground is quiet--most noise is from boats on the lake. Sites are generally spacious. Wish it had a swimming beach, but there is one at Outlet Bay campground just down the road. Would recommend this campground.

Busy campground. Very difficult to get a site any more. Only 2 bathrooms, which are kept clean but the lock on the door does not work and there are no lights inside, even in the day it is dark inside. My husband made an “occupied” sign and we carried a lantern to light it up.
