We have stayed here numerous time. As usual we enjoyed ourselves. The camp sites nearest the reservoir were having to deal with mosquitos. We were on the other side of the camp grounds so we barely noticed them.

It’s a nice clean campground we enjoyed the area. We did end up ending our 5 day stay early due to the amount of wasps/mud dauber, 5 out of 7 of us getting stung a couple times were we couldn’t even enjoy cooking, eating, sitting, playing games. It would be a perfect spot if the bees weren’t an issue.

We had a great time at this campground. Lots of trees, green grass and clean restrooms. The host was extremely friendly. There were a lot of mosquitoes around, still had fun. We would love to visit again. If we can get reservations.

The mosquitos were absurd. You could not be outside at all. It was the first time ever in our camping history that we were gone by 9:00 am. I know that it is not the campsites fault, but there could have been some spraying of some sort to keep them at a decent amount.

  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
