My only gripe, which is an on going problem….. we follow the rules and neighbors head 3 unleashed dogs , one was a chocolate lab that came after my leashed Aussie the owner did grab the dog but there needs to be some enforcement of this rule.

It was a beautiful spot. Could see the lake from 2 sides. It was great having full hookup.

We enjoy south marcum for the nice level sites. All the wildlife that walk around the park and the space at each campsite. The shower house is always nice, with plenty of hot water

From I-57 take exit 71 and turn west onto Highway 14. After 3 miles turn right on Rend City Road, then right on Rend Lake Dam Rd. Continue 3 miles to the park entrance on the left.
South Marcum Campground is accessible from I-57 via exit 71, then west on Highway 14. The campground is located approximately 3 miles from the highway exit.
Elevation: 134 feet
5.3 mi drive to downtown Benton (about 11 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- All campers MUST register/ check-in with gate attendant upon arrival to receive site and vehicle tags.
- Camping equipment is required to be placed on the campsite; one camper with a maximum of three tents OR a maximum of four tents per site are permitted. Sites may NOT be reserved for parking of vehicles.
