It’s a lovely park, great trails, easy access for our boats into the lake and we were in a great location…..but our only issue was we were under 2 huge pine trees with tree sap on our vehicles and on our rv plus every trip in and out of rv we tracked the sticky stuff in!! So a lot of work getting it all off when we got home. We would never pick spot #81 again. Unless pine trees were removed!! It was the only spot in that area with pine trees around us. Workers take great care in keeping the area very clean. Rend lake - South Marcum is a great area. We will be back just not in spot #81 with pine trees.
Would like to see areas with food/restaurant access from the lake and a marina for gas. And even a marina at camp ground areas for leaving boats in the water instead of pulling them out each evening. But overall it’s a great campground!! Just have to be selective on picking your spots!

Great spot to park your boat in the water right at your camp spot. Beautiful view of the lake! My favorite camp spot!

There was a lot of trash left from previous campers that we had to clean up. They also left a few screws and drill bits. The pull in is very short! You can only park a small car with a small pop up camper on the lot.
Covey Point spot 108

This is a great loop to camp in and the spot has lots of room for parking. Full shade

I love this site, it’s shaded and pretty easy to back in. We have stayed there a couple times.
