Cahokia RV Parque

We stayed here while my husband finished up a class for his degree, it was a great experience. Super Family friendly, great staff, very welcoming, they even hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for all to enjoy. Campground itself was quiet and the other long term guest were great. It’s in a nice location, close to Downtown STL. We would stay here again if ever back in the area.

Very nice campground. Bathhouse well maintained and supplied. Shuttle service into the city was convenient and available whenever we needed it. We had a site near the road, so there was a significant amount of traffic noise throughout the night.

During your stay, make sure you get some BBQ from the Sawmill restaurant next door. Delicious! Plus they offer a discount for people staying at the RV park.

My husband and I have been travelling around the US in our motorhome for the last 2 years. This is the worst campground we’ve been to. Admittedly, we are not fans of RV parks which we tend to avoid. We chose this one for its proximity to the city of St-Louis. That’s a positive for the place. The other positive is the best little BBQ place that’s just on its side: Sawmill BBQ (OMG! Sooooo gooood). Unfortunately, I have no other positive to point out. The campground area is pretty small and PACKED with RV sites. There is no pretty outlook on anything. We were facing an ugly storage facility and, had we chosen to eat on the provided picnic table, we would have facing and practically been at touching distance of the front of our neighbour’s truck. On top of all of that, the RV Parque is close to a pretty high traffic road. Sirens and speeding cars are audible at nighttime. VERY EXPENSIVE FOR THE WORST CAMPGROUND EVER!!

We stayed one night in our RV. The campground is fine. Clean facilities and very friendly, helpful employees. The park is adjacent to a rough neighborhood, but it does not affect the park. 4 stars just because of the proximity to the very loud road. There is a pool and restaurant, though we did not have time for them.

Cahokia RV Parque is a great place. Yes, they have a few full time residents (most are traveling nurses and/or construction workers), but the park is clean and nicely kept. The management team was pleasant and was willing to take us on the shuttle to Cahokia Mounds for an outing.

This isn't a vacation destination RV park, but it's a great place to spend a night or two and still be close to the action of St. Louis and be in a safe part of town.

They have a nice pool, laundry facilities, the bathrooms and showers were very clean and updated. The only issue we had was their wifi signal was poor and our StarLink didn't work in the area. However, it was nice to be disconnected for a couple days.

There is a restaurant the Sawmill next door. We ate there just because it was convenient, the food was okay.
