We have camped at Boulder twice now, both times have enjoyed the stay. Sites are nice and well maintained, bathrooms are clean and stocked. No complaints out of me.

Bugs, bugs and more bugs. I normally stay at dam west but was unable to get a spot for my last trip and decided to try thr other side of the lake. I have been camping for over 30 years and this site is by far the absolute worst for the amount of mosquitoes. I know it's nature and bugs are a part of it but the marshland right behind the campground made it impossible to spend any time out of the camper.

This is a very nice campground very clean and quiet. We had an excellent view of the lake. We will definitely be back.

Quiet and enjoyable campground. Perfect Spot across from the lake and in your backyard is the playground if you have kiddos!

Great place to camp. We were only there one night but would definitely go back. The camp sites are large with concrete pads, some with beautiful views of the lake. My only disappointment was there was no place to get into the lake, no beach or swimming. There is a beach on the lake you can drive to but we weren't there long enough to explore.

We arrived on a very windy evening, and the lake was covered in white caps. We were next to the lakeshore; our back-in site put our back to the wind. There was a picnic table and fire ring at the site which we didn’t attempt to use. The site was paved. Nice spacing between sites. Interior sites had ample shade. We had 50 amp; no water or sewer.

My Wife and i enjoyed the campground very much, the view from our campsite of the lake was phenomenal. Will definitely recommend this for anyone going to Carlyle Lake, but definitely book ahead! Recommend to fill up the water tanks before parking :) we arrived late at night and didn't realize that there was not a water hookup on site, just electric for most sites.
