This was our first time at Coles Creek. We were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the ground and restroom facilities. I had the opportunity to compliment the woman cleaning the restrooms because I was so impressed! The fire pits were great (well the one at our site was broken with the grill feature, but we used the empty lot next to ours). I was a bit frustrated that it said we had to purchase wood there but then there was no wood for purchase and we had to drive into town. Also, I needed to ask a question and could not get a hold of anyone—there was no contact information for the grounds.

We had an amazing time. Only thing that was sucky was the wind saturday night picked up badly due to a storm.

Most sites are level and roomy. Camp hosts are experienced at their positions and very nice. My husband appreciated all of the fishing spots having restrooms on location. Shower house is kept clean and functioning. Wish they had laundry facilities for extended stays.

Spacious, well maintained COE not too far off the beaten path for our travels. Sites are nicely laid out so you don’t feel cramped in. Good cell signal and one of the nicest shower houses I’ve come across in our travels!

Coles Creek is well maintained campground. The COE does an excellent job and layout is extremely well thought out. We were at a full hookup site. Pads were pretty level bring a board are blocks just in case for a more level camper.
It’s totally on the other side of the lake from Hazlett State park. So if you need something from town it’s about a 15 mile ride. But a ride trip here and there is not a bad idea either.

Lovely campground. Beautiful lake. We were camp tenting and saw a few other tents but it was majority RVs. Bathrooms were super clean and that was much appreciated!!! Quiet at night and rangers were present and friendly. Great experience. Gorgeous views.
