Be wary of the gum trees. Extremely loaded with fruit this year and when we had a heavy rain, the extra weight cause multiple limbs to fall.

The bathrooms and shower house were kept extremely clean - the employees in the check in shack were extremely helpful / friendly when dealing with them. Parking for the beach area was easy to access. We will definitely be back to camp at Coles Creek again!

Backed into site and plugged in Watchdog. Watchdog would not allow power to our unit as it said that there was insufficient power. We'd been on the road for a while so unhooked, told the front gate - who said they'd have someone look at it and then went to get a meal. We came back and still had no power. Went back to the front gate and they said that the maintenance person had been there but we weren't there so they did no work. We weren't told that we needed to be there. It was their electrical problem, not ours so unsure why they couldn't fix it without us being there.
We were put in a different site that wasn't quite as nice but worked just fine. It was one of those "off the map" sites that are used for such occasions. Other than that it is a beautiful campground. Would definitely go again. If you are a water sportsperson - boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming, this is a great area to be in.
