What Guests Are Saying
Boulder Campground offers a fantastic camping experience with clean, well-maintained facilities and friendly, helpful hosts who enhance the stay. Campers appreciate the beautiful views, spacious sites, and well-kept shower houses. While some noted the lack of water hookups at each site and occasional bug issues, the overall atmosphere is peaceful and enjoyable, making it a favorite destination for many.

Nice facilities. Weather was raining and strong wind. Couldn’t be outside as we wanted to. But that is to be expected some times.

This is a very nice, quiet and clean campground. Lots of sites with great views of Carlyle Lake. Campground hosts and staff are very nice. Looking forward to revisiting in the Spring.

I have camped here for over 20 yrs. Each year it gets harder, last year they even changed the rules in June, after most seasoned campers had made their reservations for June in December of the previous year. I would strongly suggest you go to Rend Lake where are much more “camper friendly”.

Clean park. The cleaning crew does a remarkable job with the shower houses and bathrooms. The park rangers not sure what they do except drive around in there vehicles. Never actually see them doing anything but make an appearance once in a while. The hosts were nice and hospitable not like the prison guards up the road at Coles Creek.
