This was our very favorite campground on a 38 night camping adventure! We were on Loop A and had a lakefront site with full hookups. The site was spacious and level. My husband reported that the shower and restroom facility was clean. The campground was laid out nicely with lots of green space. Covid-19 protocols were adhered to as we checked-in. We definitely hope to return. If you have an "America the Beautiful" pass be sure to show it at check-in because you get a substantial discount!

Very nice to ride your bike and walk, close to the water if you want to fish or doing warm weather a beach to swim. My only negative thought is it is a shame that wasn't able to keep our May reservation due to Covid-19 but thought would remain open longer to make up for this. Other rec areas stay open just don't understand why Coles Creek didn't. Also if they needed a host who was willing to stay longer contact me. Thank you for the op to voice my opinion. God Bless and have a great day!

3 Shower stalls (mens) for such a large campground is inadequate. A small shower house and restroom similar to the facility at Dam West is needed at Coles Creek.
