First of let me just say I've camping at CC for about two decades and love it...The Positive Great campground hosts Sherri and her husband Les courteous and very knowledgeable hope they host for many more years ,good cell phone reception and over the air TV Antenna signal, Very clean facility's paved sites which were widened a few years ago. Now the Negative lack of shade trees in Loop one most of the camping tables in loop one are warped the trash containers are inconveniently placed as well, also there are two concrete pads that are not being utilized for a trash container and the biggest NEGITIVE fore CC it closes to early for the camping season....

The shower house was almost as good as the lake view. It had full private rooms with toilet, sink, and shower.
The view from our site, which I think was loop 5 number 34, was excellent. Most of the outer sites were in view of the lake.
It was a great family park with beach access, a picnic pavilion and a dock for boaters. The reason for my one star deduction was related to this more than the camp facilities themselves. As such a family friendly camp, there was a double site with a family of many small children directly across from us. Between the kids, their dogs, and yelling for the kids, the noise level was a little more than expected, but not terrible. Also the side of the park with the dock, had a very large population of sea gulls…which comes with a lot of poo on the parking lot to get to the dock.
We would camp there again and recommend it to anyone. There were campers of all ages. We saw three year olds on bikes and senior citizens in rvs. We saw rigs of all kinds. (Tents, van/tent combos, pop up pull behinds, campers, and rvs large and small.)
